As we bid a fond farewell to 2022 we've taken some time to look back at our key successes from the past 12 months. From supporting IKEA and H&M with the launch of their new ‘hyper local’ retail brand Atelier100 and launching Sonos in the Baltic region to managing a global comms strategy for Kaunas European Capital of Culture, here’s a round up of the work we’re most proud of in 2022.
1. Bringing Kaunas to the world through a global communications strategy
A clear highlight for AM+A this year was working on a global communications and campaign strategy for Kaunas in Lithuania to support their European Capital of Culture 2022 programme.
Our global strategy was based around three key milestone events, in addition to ongoing support for the Capital of Culture programme. AM+A developed an online media centre and communications system to share key news with the media on a weekly basis.
In collaboration with the brilliant Kaunas2022 team, AM+A were able to generate continuous coverage for the European Capital of Culture in key international media titles. We generated 77 items of coverage, with an estimated reach of over 634,287,654 people.
2. Atelier100 - Launching IKEA and H&M’s new ‘hyper-local’ retail brand
This year we were delighted to generate some huge results for global brands IKEA and H&M as they launched a new ‘hyper-local’ retail brand supporting local creatives and artists in London. Our integrated marketing strategy included strategic partnerships, collaborations, press office services, media buying, targeted social media, event support and media visits.
Key results from our three-phase campaign included placing 4,000 OOH ads in key London locations, developing collaborations with 30 strategic partners and implementing a comprehensive influencer ambassador programme.
Our PR activity generated 250+ media articles, which reached audiences in the millions, along with our paid social campaign connecting to 745,000 people.
3. Launching Sonos in the Baltics through press office and event management
Leading global audio specialists Sonos contracted us to help establish the brand and gain publicity in the Baltic region. We successfully reached over 1.7 million people, generating 35 items of coverage and distributing 40+ products for reviews.
Publicity included L'Officiel Magazine, Delfi, Digi Geenius, Kas Jauns, am.ee, Delfi Lithuania, IQ Magazine, Alfa Magazine, Kursors.lv and Digi Magazine.
AM+A also organised a unique ‘Taste and Sound’ media experience, showcasing Sonos products as part of a unique lunch event hosted by famous chef Mārtiņš Sirmais. This was attended by 25 representatives from leading Baltic media including national news journalists from Estonia and Lithuania.

Our robust press office service included media communication, media experiences, social media management, events and seasonal creative campaigns.

We also represented the Czech Republic at world renowned events and fairs, such as National Geographic Traveller Food Festival, Czech Tourism Wine Evening and the World Travel Market, while assisting on seasonal social media campaigns that generated over 9 million impressions.
5. WTM2022 - Slovenia’s ‘Living Room' Press Conference and hosting the PR Summit
Highlights from this year’s World Travel Market included organising two unique press conferences for the Slovenian Tourist Board to introduce a new tourism campaign combining responsible tourism and digitalisation. The events introduced Slovenia’s Living Room tourism concept and also announced the launch of the new I feel sLOVEnia NFT.

6. Supporting Latvian unicorn Printful’s expansion into the UK
And finally this year saw us continue our partnership with Latvia's first unicorn, Printful, as they expanded into the UK. In addition to our global press office activity we planned and oversaw the media launch event for Printful’s first UK fulfilment centre.
AM+A generated 87+ items of coverage during the partnership, reaching over 100 million audiences. Creative content such as our Platinum Jubilee story was picked up by national publications such as the Daily Mirror and MSN, reaching over 32 million readers globally.
