Our work experience placements are popular, candidates are given a wide range of experiences across all parts of our business. Students are fully immersed in the day to day running of AM+A allowing them to develop their skills and get a better understanding of their strengths.
We offer internships to local and international candidates in tertiary education. After a one month placement candidates have the opportunity to apply for a paid internship. The first month of work is expenses paid of up to £10 per day.
As an intern you will be supported in your ongoing development and have the opportunity to get involved with all areas of our work. You will have the chance to work with clients in the tourism sector, retail sector, renewable energy sector and lifestyle brands.
As an Intern at AM+A, your responsibilities will include:
+ Support the management of media databases
+ Respond efficiently to media requests
+ Monitor and action editorial alerts
+ Attend client meetings to observe discussions and presentations
+ Assist on new business-related research and presentation assignmentsIndustry trend research projects alongside competitor analysis
+ General Company and office administrative tasks
+ Press coverage distribution, analysis and organisationDeliver monthly client activity reporting
+ Support team members to share coverage, coordinate press activities and seek appropriate information for media initiatives
+ Support the Account Executive with press release drafting and design
+ Media monitoring and forward feature planning
+ Assist with press bookings
+ Assist in creation of event plans
+ Coordination of RSVP process and issuing invitations
+ Assist on guest check in on the door of events
+ Attend client and industry events
