Creating and managing an influencer marketing campaign showcasing the Vale of Glamorgan as a leading dog-friendly destination.

The Brief

To oversee an influencer marketing campaign, centering around a group influencer trip, aiming to promote the Vale of Glamorgan in South Wales as the perfect year-round dog-friendly holiday destination.

Our Solution

AM+A handpicked a number of leading dog-friendly content creators who aligned with the core themes of the campaign; outdoor exploration and dog-friendly adventure. The group was invited for a two-night stay to explore the region and discover the dog-friendly activities, accommodations, businesses and eating spots on offer. 

Activities included:

  • Securing top UK dog influencers, the_daxie_trouble, archielhasa and albert.olly.bernese
  • Worked with local businesses across the Vale to offer the influencers complimentary items
  • Ensured the relevant handles and tags were used, allowing for resharing on their pages to broaden the reach
  • Aligned the content produced with previous #pawsinthevale campaign in order for it to be easily reused and reshared by @visitthevale social media and website pages
  • Coordinated efforts with Visit Wales to increase exposure, using #visitwales and tagging @visitwales in content
  • Ensuring the use of the Instagram collaborative posts feature to further increase the exposure of Gileston Manor, our accommodation for the trip
