AM+A celebrates a bumper month of high profile coverage.

In the last month we've seen some amazing coverage for our clients across some of the biggest media titles in the UK and beyond.

Slovenia - Europe’s ‘capital of calm'

Our drive to position Slovenia as the 'capital of calm’ has resulted in big features in Time Out and the Daily Telegraph, with the latter describing the country as ‘Europe’s most relaxing country’. As a result of hosting Press Association, Slovenia’s run of coverage has included Xpose.ie and the Irish News.

Meanwhile the new luxury Villa Planinka eco-hotel has enjoyed some great coverage in the Evening Standard and Sydney Morning Herald’s Traveller magazine. With coverage still to come from The Times, The Daily Mail, Escapism magazine, Olive magazine & Rough Guides, it's set to be a huge Slovenian summer.

Poland - 2019's must visit summer destination

We continue to showcase Poland as one of Europe’s most affordable, accessible and under the radar destinations. Last month saw the first wave of coverage from a group press trip to experience Warsaw’s booming cultural and business scene, involving leading travel and MICE journalists including The Metro, ABTA, Vice, Travel Weekly and The Sun.

The team also recruited some of the country’s most influential travel media to position Poland as the next ‘must visit’ summer destination. Working with Interrail to send The Guardian to experience the best of the Masuria region, Poland’s ‘Land of a Thousand Lakes’.

But it doesn’t end there…we also secured trips with National Geographic Traveller, Suitcase Magazine and the Daily Telegraph, so keep your eyes peeled for more stellar later in the year.

Bridgend County - Family fun and fen orchids

It may not be the Caribbean but The Sun loved their wellness weekend in South Wales, sampling everything from surfing and paddle boarding to dune yoga. The Guardian’s Kevin Rushby went in search of the rare fen orchid while also exploring the dunes by fat bike.

Elsewhere, in Paisley The Independent tried their hand at bagpiping while watching the professionals go head-to-head in the British Pipe Band Championships. Elsewhere, The Metro gave a shout out to The Angel's new gourmet gardening packages in their Hotlist feature.
